2.4. Stay in tune

However good at guitar tuning you think you are, it`s ten times more difficult on stage with three hundred people watching. There is nothing that sounds so bad as an out of tune guitar (apart from the spice girls) and when you`re panicking it`s even more difficult. The audience is subject to a series of twanging noises as you desperately tweak the headstock. The answer is to get a stage tuner. Looks like a normal pedal but when you press it the guitar is cutt off from the amp and bright tuning lights come on. If the whole band has the same model then you can be assured that everyone is in tune with everyone else. The only thing that can let you down will be your playing!
