3.1. Drums

Drums are always the most difficult part to record. They take time patience and skill to get a good sound (and a number of studios are not up to it). If you are paying by the hour drums can make a mark in your bank account. An easy way round is to get your drummer to program a machine (or cubase etc) with the tracks, that way they can go down in 5mins flat leaving loads of money left over to do the other stuff. (If you get the drummer to do the programming he/she will be less miffed about not getting recorded).
