1.2. Security

If you find someone for your band via the bandmaker and exchange a few emails you may be ready to meet them face to face. But before you do, take a few simple precautions, just in case they aren`t who they claim to be. First, always arrange to meet in a public place. Get a good description of them and what they will be wearing (to avoid having to walk up to strangers). If you don`t like the atmosphere or feel that they don`t match what you expected (i.e. they are much older than you thought etc) then walk away. Never give away your home address or phone number until you meet them in person. Finally, relax. The vast majority of bandmaker users are honest people who are just looking for a band
